The former location of a McCrory’s store, this urban site was transformed into a pocket park at the same time the Historic Baldwin Hotel was receiving an addition and being renovated to create a satellite campus for the University of Maryland.
A world-renowned facility for children with severe brain disorders, Kennedy Krieger’s facility includes a 1/2 acre garden. Working closely with the Architects and KKI clinical therapists, Mahan Rykiel Associates developed an extensive outdoor garden geared to the needs of this highly specialized population.
MGM National Harbor is a $1.5 billion mixed-use resort, the newest addition to the booming multiuse National Harbor development situated along the Potomac Riverfront. A 23-acre destination resort casino, the project also includes a mix of retail, entertainment and dining. Mahan Rykiel was tasked with designing the exterior public areas and entrances.
Completed in 2011, the Four Seasons hotel is situated along the waterfront in Baltimore’s chic Harbor East district. The building is part of a larger 420,000 square feet development which includes the Legg Mason office tower.
The convention center hotel occupies a full city block on Pratt Street, Baltimore’s premier downtown and waterfront address. It overlooks Camden Yards, home to the Baltimore Orioles.
