Pentagon Row is a successful mixed-use community on Joyce Street in Arlington. Mahan Rykiel was charged with rejuvenating the plaza and increasing the seasonal programming space by half—while still allowing plenty of pedestrian circulation, and increasing planting areas within the reduced area.
Completed in 2011, the Four Seasons hotel is situated along the waterfront in Baltimore’s chic Harbor East district. The building is part of a larger 420,000 square feet development which includes the Legg Mason office tower.

The landscape design for the development incorporates reclaimed materials and a native plant palette to reflect the site’s ecological and industrial heritage.
