Landscape Project Designer

We are seeking a Landscape Project Designer to join our growing practice in the Baltimore office. This role is ideal for a design-driven professional with project management and coordination skills.

Job Description:

• Perform all phases landscape architectural design & project management on multi-scale projects, including educational, healthcare, parks, plazas, commercial, residential and transportation sites
• Integrate local agency regulations/project requirements/zoning ordinances & building-code analyses into design development & documentation
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary consultant teams to synthesize architectural/engineering/planning disciplines into cohesive landscape solutions
• Conduct programming/prototype/feasibility analyses to resolve technical & design constraints using rendering/digital modeling/visualization tools
• Develop/review construction documents & collaborate with clients to obtain bids/permits/agency approvals & awarding construction contracts
• Manage construction projects, including field coordination/schedule control/submittal review & RFI evaluation/response.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum of 1-year of design experience
• Sound knowledge of grading design/topography & planting
• Expertise in landscape design & planning (urban design/environmental planning & design/grading & planting systems/construction details)
• Strong skills in conceptualization & visualization (hand-sketching, 3D modeling & rendering)
• Proficient in AutoCAD/LandFX/Rhino/SketchUp/Lumion/Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)/ArcGIS/ArcMap.

Compensation:

The pay for this position is $77,334 annually
