PROJECT LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT/MANAGER (Mid-Level)

We are seeking a Project Landscape Architect / Project Manager with 6–10+ years of experience to join our growing practice in the Baltimore office. This role is ideal for a design-driven professional with strong project management and coordination skills who is energized by guiding complex projects from vision through realization. Working closely with our Design Principals, this individual will help lead all phases of project delivery, including concept development, consultant coordination, technical documentation, client engagement, team leadership, scheduling, budgeting, and construction implementation, while maintaining a high level of design excellence throughout the process.
As part of a collaborative multidisciplinary environment, this role requires strong coordination with architects, engineers, clients, and consultant teams across a wide range of project types and scales. The ideal candidate is passionate about landscape architecture, thrives in a team-oriented studio culture, and can successfully balance creativity, coordination, and project execution. We are looking for a strong communicator and strategic thinker who is ready to grow into a leadership role within the firm.
What we are looking for:
• A design-forward professional with strong project management and coordination skills
• Ability to lead landscape architecture scope from conceptual design through construction documentation and implementation
• Proven experience coordinating with multidisciplinary consultant teams, architects, engineers, and client groups
• Strong understanding of project delivery, technical detailing, constructability, and construction administration
• Ability to manage schedules, deliverables, and multiple complex assignments while maintaining design quality
• Confidence mentoring junior staff and supporting team growth within a collaborative studio environment
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients, consultants, collaborators, and contractors
• Interest in shaping thoughtful, high-quality landscapes across a variety of project types and scales
• Active engagement in professional practice, networking, outreach, and business development
• A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving, project ownership, and team leadership
Candidate Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program, or a closely related design discipline
• 6–10+ years of professional experience within a landscape architecture or multidisciplinary design firm
• Professional licensure or progress toward licensure preferred
• Strong organizational and project management skills with experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite; experience with Rhino, Revit, Lumion, and other visualization or documentation tools is a plus
• Strong technical knowledge of construction documentation, detailing, and construction administration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a collaborative studio environment
• Ability to travel as needed
