Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration engaged Mahan Rykiel to design a median fence and additional pedestrian safety improvements on MD 528 (Coastal Highway) in Ocean City, Md to help reduce pedestrian accidents caused by mid-block crossings.Â
