2026 Internship

The Mahan Rykiel Associates summer internship offers students pursuing a degree in landscape architecture a meaningful opportunity to learn, grow, and gain hands-on experience in a professional design environment. Interns are immersed in real-world projects and day-to-day studio life, working closely with office leaders and project teams through every phase of a project—from early concept design to construction and implementation.

As an intern, you’ll have the chance to attend client meetings, tour completed projects and visit active construction sites. Our goal is simple: to provide a real-world, real-office, real-time experience that supports your development as a future landscape architect.

Internship Details:

  • Paid internship
  • 8–10 weeks, with flexible start and end dates (May-August)
  • 34 hours per week, Monday–Thursday (8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m.)
  • In-person positions available in our Baltimore and Philadelphia offices
