Mahan Rykiel Associates prepared a master plan that provided the University with a guideline for growth, identifying opportunity sites for new buildings, athletic facilities, and open spaces. Several key focus areas of the master plan included:
• Creating a strategy for phasing in structured parking
• Identifying a phasing strategy for building programs
• Making stronger visual and physical connections between the main and east campuses
• Enhancing gateways, the visitor experience and the University’s identity
• Recommending enhancements to the open space network and landscape environment
